White-collar crime cases on the rise in Johor


JOHOR BARU: Almost half of all commercial crimes reported in Johor in the first half of the year involved online scams.

State police chief Comm Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said 1,404 cheating cases were recorded, with 30% to 40% being online scams while another 15% were African scams.
