Zahid amused when participant at international conference mistook him for the PM

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic) had to correct a foreign participant at an international conference here who mistakenly thought he was the Prime Minister, leading to a lighthearted moment at the event.

The Deputy Prime Minister was presenting his speech at the closing ceremony of the International Conference of Ulama held at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia on Friday when he announced that Kuala Lumpur would host a global Sufi centre.
