KUALA LUMPUR: The "new view" to allow a Muslim child conceived out of wedlock to take the father's name would legitimise adultery, said the Perak mufti (pix).
Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria said this view goes against the teachings in the Quran, hadith, and ijmak ulamak (consensus decision by ulamak worldwide).
