Preacher pleads not guilty to graft charge

SHAH ALAM: A preacher with the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) has been charged at the Sessions Court here with abuse of power involving RM10,000.

Hairul Nizan Mhd Idris, 36, who is based at the Hulu Langat District Islamic Religion Office, pleaded not guilty after the charge was read to him before Sessions Court Judge Rozilah Salleh.
