Dr M fails to get stay, forex losses RCI to start Monday

PUTRAJAYA: The Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) set up to investigate the foreign exchange losses incurred by Bank Negara in the 1990s will commence on Monday.

This follows a decision by the Court of Appeal on Friday, dismissing an application by former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to stay the RCI's proceedings.
