PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry's prompt response to false allegations resulted in a Singapore news portal retracting a report on the death of a hit-and-run victim, said director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

"Our prompt response debunking fallacies have resulted in an otherwise arrogant Singaporean portal now retracting their post with apology," Dr Noor Hisham said in a post on Facebook.
