Najib files application to strike out Zaid-AmBank suit

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has filed an application to strike out a suit by former cabinet minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim against AmBank Islamic Bhd.  

Najib's counsel Nur Hazira Aby Hayyan told reporters after meeting High Court deputy registrar Nurul Ain Hamzah that the application was filed on Sept 8 over grounds that Zaid has no locus standi to file the suit.
