KUALA LUMPUR: MIC has asked Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to consider a 2009 Cabinet decision on unilateral conversion that states the religion of a child will remain as it was at the time of birth until age 18.
Its president Datuk Seri S. Subramaniam said unilateral conversion was still a major issue and had a big impact on the Indian community.
