Rosmah: Don’t hesitate to report child sex abuse

PETALING JAYA: Reluctance to report cases of child sexual abuse leads to adverse effects on the victims, the Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor said.

She said sexual abuse and incest are taboo in many societies and that “parents and guardians hesitate to report these” because of the stigma, but it must be done.
