PETALING JAYA: Bersih 2.0 has expressed its disappointment with the decision of Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun to not allow the "Love Malaysia, End Kleptocracy" rally to be held at Padang Timur in Petaling Jaya.

"The reasons given by the IGP are flimsy and show that he failed to understand that, while the 10-day notice is given to inform the police under the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012, the police do not have the authority to decide the venue or have the final say whether it will proceed or not," it said in a statement on Wednesday.
