Security guard, 72, assaulted in robbery at petrol station store

ALOR SETAR: A 72-year-old security guard sustained injuries to his head and body when he was assaulted by robbers at a petrol station store on Jalan Bakar Bata near here Thursday.

Kota Setar District Police senior investigation officer Asst Supt Mohd Noor Puteh said P. Ramakrishnan was resting inside the premises when two robbers arrived in a motorcycle and broke into the store.
