KOTA TINGGI: A father who sexually assaulted his biological daughter for four years was sentenced to 81 years in jail and eight strokes of the rotan by the Sessions Court here on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old lorry driver - who cannot be named to protect the identity of his daughter - pleaded guilty to five counts of incest committed against her between 2011 and 2015, when she was aged between 11 and 15.

The now 17-year-old victim is the second of six siblings.

The father was charged under Section 376B (1) of Penal Code with raping, molesting and forcing his underaged daughter to perform oral sex at a rented house in Taman Sri Saujana and Felda Air Tawar 3 here.

His brother-in-law, 37, was also charged with molesting the girl in May 2014 together with the father in Block 1, Felda Air Tawar 3 here.

Sessions judge Zahilah Muhammad also ordered the brother-in-law to be jailed five years for the offence under Section 354 of Penal Code for assault or use of criminal force to a person with intent to outrage modesty.
