‘Bus was filled with fumes before crash’

GEORGE TOWN: Survivors of the bus collision that claimed eight lives in Juru said there was panic and pandemonium on the first bus even before the accident occurred.

“Something was wrong with the engine and exhaust fumes filled the inside of the bus, choking us,” said survivor Sahfitri, 19, from Medan.
