Jamal retracts statement against Zuraida, the two settle defamation case

KUALA LUMPUR: A defamation suit filed by Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin against Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos (pic) for associating her with his bloodied nose incident, has been resolved via mediation.

The matter was settled after Jamal retracted his remark against Zuraida, made at Ampang Point Mall in November last year.
