KUALA LUMPUR: A Barisan Nasional lawmaker has asked the Government to revoke the licences of international hotel operators for discriminating against Muslim women who don the hijab (headscarf) at work.
Kinabatangan MP Datuk Seri Bung Mokhtar Radin (pic) said it did not make sense for hotels to discriminate in such a manner as there many women professionals in the country who wear the hijab.
