Mass ‘bekwoh’ for people of Kota Baru


KOTA BARU: Kota Baru Barisan Nasional has pledged to hold mass bekwoh (wedding banquets) twice a year for married couples from all races if it wins the parliamentary and state seats here. It must be the couple’s first marriage.

“We understand that there are many youths who find it expensive to get married,” Kota Baru Umno chief Tan Sri Fatmi Mohd Salleh said.
