ALOR SETAR: A total of 89 families were affected when storms lashed seven districts in Kedah, causing destruction to their homes.
State Social Welfare Department director Azmi Abd Karim said the storm hit the districts of Kota Setar, Padang Terap, Langkawi, Pendang, Sik, Kubang Pasu and Kulim late Sunday and continued until early yesterday.
