PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): The former special officer to ex-prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who was remanded over a case of allegedly soliciting money for a solar panel project, has been released on Sunday (July 15).
Magistrate Chyfica Mohamed Zamri allowed the 44-year-old man, who has the title 'Datuk', bail of RM16,000 in one surety after the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) did not apply for an extension of the remand.
