Unidentified body found in Klang drain


Fire and Rescue personnel used a ladder to extract the body from the drain.

KLANG: Fire And Rescue Department personnel were called to the scene after police found an unidentified body in a drain along Jalan Kebun here.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said they received a call about the incident at around 10.29pm on Sunday (Aug 27).

"We were informed by the police that they found a body in the drain along Jalan Kebun here.

"They asked for our assistance in providing a ladder for them to remove the body," he said when contacted on Monday (Aug 28).

He said his personnel at the scene monitored the situation as the police used the ladder to remove the body from the drain.
