Lorry caught on fire on Elite Highway


PETALING JAYA: A lorry caught fire and was almost completely destroyed on the Elite Highway on Monday evening (July 22).

When contacted, the assistant director (Operations) of the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar, said that the department received information about the incident at 7.51pm.

The incident occurred at KM6.9 of the Elite Highway. 80% of the lorry was damaged.

"The fire was extinguished by firefighters at the scene, and there were no casualties," he said.
