A humble approach to a PhD

LAST week I attended a Hooding Ceremony, an event to honour our 70 students graduating with doctoral degrees.

Conducted by the Graduate School, the ceremony was also attended by the parents and loved ones of the graduates, who watched with pride. One of the graduates was Salina Alias, whom I co-supervised. Dr Salina earned her doctoral degree in Civil Engineering.
