Chong Wei beats Lin Dan for ABC final

Chong Wei is not thinking as far as next Thomas Cup Finals in 2018. Focus now is the Olympis Games in Rio.

PETALING JAYA: National shuttler Lee Chong Wei showed that his preparation for the Rio Olympics in August is well and truly on the right path after blitzing Lin Dan in his own den.

The 33-year-old Chong Wei not only claimed his first back-to-back win over nemesis Lin Dan in 36 meetings, but he absolutely battered the five-time world champion and two-time Olympic gold medallist 22-20, 15-21, 21-4 in the semi-final of Asian Badminton Championships (ABC) in Wuhan on Saturday.
