Tang Jie-Ee Wei continue to shine in Shenzhen by reaching semis


PETALING JAYA: Mixed doubles shuttlers Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei smashed into the China Masters semi-finals by beating Hong Kong's Tang Chun Man-Tse Ying Suet.

The reigning world champions fought hard to come out on top 21-12, 12-21, 21-17 in a thrilling 61-minute match at the Shenzhen Arena on Friday (Sept 19).

It was world No. 3 Tang Jie-Ee Wei's second win over world No. 6 Chun Man-Ying Suet after also defeating them in the 2023 Arctic Open.

Standing in Tang Jie-Ee Wei's way to the final will be the winners of the all-Chinese clash between world No. 1 Feng Yanzhe-Huang Dongping and world No. 5 Guo Xinwa-Chen Fanghui.
