Cologne video rental store Traumathek is fighting for its survival in the digital age of online streaming.

Karin Huettenhofer arrives at her video rental shop 15 minutes before opening time. She sorts through films, fills the coffee machine with water, and carries out tables and chairs. 

Karin will spend the next ten hours in Traumathek, between movie racks and behind the counter, selling DVDs, coffee and lemonade to customers, as well as posters and niche literature.
