Sitting in the waiting room of a doctor's office for long periods of time is one reason people don't like to go to the doctor. Instead, many patients are moving towards using the Internet to diagnose themselves or are using a phone app to videochat with doctors. 

One US doctor sees the benefit of using technology, but said patients should only use it if they have minor, not serious symptoms.
