KUANTAN: Bauxite miners in the state are caught in a Catch-22, being told to clear their stockpiles or face a moratorium extension, but not being allowed to clear the stockpiles.
Pahang Mining Operators Association vice-president Yap Soon Huat said licensed operators were being held back by illegal miners, who lacked the proprietary mining licence (PML) to move the ore they dug up.
